CONDENSATE POLISHING

Description

Condensate polishing is used in power plants to remove traces of ions from the condensate before recycling the water back to the boilers as purified condensate. Using a condensate polisher prolongs the service lives of equipment by reducing the rate of corrosion through the removal of minerals and other contaminants from the system. Condensate polishing translates to operation savings through the conservation of water and energy.

Boustead Salcon has designed and delivered condensate polishing units to power plants with capacities ranging from 60MW to 800MW worldwide, thus producing high quality boiler feed water to meet the stringent requirements of our clients.
