PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT

Description

Produced water refers to a complex mixture, consisting of water, hydrogen deposits and various contaminants, brought up to the surface from the hydrocarbon reservoir along with the oil and gas during extraction. As a function of oil and water chemistry, geological formation and other site-specific factors, the composition of the produced water can vary accordingly.

In view of the potential for well injection, onshore or offshore discharge adhering to stringent legislations or reuse of produced water in oil and gas operations, Boustead Salcon offers various treatment technologies for produced water and the expertise to customise the solutions to the unique requirements of each site.
